Security Systems

Electronic alarms in premises are the most popular means for ensuring the safety of property. Unlike property insurance services, electronic alarm in premises guarantees prevention of losses. Security alarm is one of the most reliable way to protect people and property. Subject to composition of the system, alarm reacts to movements, sounds, opening of doors and windows, glass breakage, demolition of walls, water leakage, shutdown of voltage, etc.

Security / Alarm systems consist of a programmable central module, called a central, extension and auxiliary module, sensors, alarm devices (sirens, flashlights, stands). Centrals are grouped into following groups – for protection of small, middle-sized, big and very big objects. Security centrals of small objects may observe up to 8 zones, middle-sized objects – up to 64, big – up to several hundreds, and very big – up to several thousands of zones. System sensors are volumetric sensors (infrared, microwave, ultrasonic, with anti-veiling function), glass breakage sensors, magnetic contacts (simple and polarized), other special sensors: of water level, variation of pressure, etc. Alarm system notifies central point of observation or chosen persons about violations. Connection with central point of observation is maintained through a telephone line or a wireless transmitter, with persons – through a telephone line. If in premises, where it is prepared to install a security alarm, there are performed all decoration works, and system wiring would spoil general view, a wireless security alarm may be installed, where connection between parts of the system are maintained by radio or GPRS waves.

Security / Premise security alarm systems are classified into three security sections:

1) First section – blocking of perimeter of premises safeguarded.

2) Second section – blocking of volume of premises safeguarded.

3) Third section – blocking of specific items.

Installed security systems do not necessarily have all three security sections. Some systems safeguard only the perimeter of premises, other – only internal volume. Of course, the best is the system which covers the perimeter and internal volume of premises. All three security sections are installed only in objects of increased risk (banks, jewellery salons, representative shops of mobile phones, etc.). Volumetric detectors detect the intruder, if he already is at the premises or somehow circumvented perimeter security. The level of security alarm system directly depends on the budget allocated to the system, layout of premises and required safety.
